Thanks for dropping by. Yes, I read R. Redford’s article today too. It is nice company, isn’t it? I like wind power too, but solar seems to be our best bet, as far as permitting issues, affordability and portability.

Stephanie, I am pleased to know about your site, sorry that I did not notice the in-bound link to Futurist.comearlier. Thanks for that. Everywhere I go I explain to people that solar energy is a pathway to the future, probably the best energy pathway. There are three responses an individual can take regarding the energy situation:

1. Someone else smarter than me will take care of it.
2. I can help others smarter than me to work on this.
3. I’m smart enough to solve my own energy problems and will do so.

I’m working with people in group number 3 to become energy self-sufficient on http://www.cheetahpower.net. We don’t need to wait for a government, big company, or the failure of fossil fuels to become energy self-sufficient. Also, if you are smart enough to invest in a 401k for retirement, you are smart enough to become energy self-sufficient and really have a secure retirement.
